BFBA Online Modular Program with Live Group Coaching Sessions

As farriers it is important to us that we are in a position to deliver high quality care and service for our clients and that we get to enjoy happy, fulfilling careers. The BFBA have partnered with Veterinary Defence Society (VDS) Training to create a bespoke support program to help farriers do just that. The program kicks off this November and we are excited to offer you the chance to come on board.

This program is for you if you ever think…

  • I am feeling stressed, it’s hard to get everything done in the time
  • I feel out of control at times, the day just seems to run away from me
  • I can’t switch off at the end of each day, I take my work home
  • Am I juggling all my commitments to get the work-life balance I want?

Over 6 modules, we will tackle these concerns and lots more. You will receive access to an e-learning platform where you can take a look at a short video for each module and complete a couple of reflective questions (this will take around 30 minutes per module) before joining a live group coaching session online to discuss the issues raised in each module and how you can tackle them. These sessions will be facilitated by Carolyne Crowe from the VDS Training team and provide a great opportunity to share challenges and solutions with other colleagues.

The course will start in November with group sessions at 9-10am on the following Fridays:

VDS can record the group sessions and a 30-day re-watch recording can be messaged within 48 hours so you can both watch again and catch up if you have missed the session due to illness, holiday, or another reason.

Once the program has finished for each group, you will have 1 month access to the online platform and the program to finish their reflections and re-watch any videos.

We are limited to 25 people at a time and the cost will be £220 for a BFBA member (£37 per module) and £250 for non-members. The 6 hours online plus pre and post coaching session reflections will provide approximately 10 – 11 hours of work (all of which will count towards your CPD!)
