Royal Norfolk Show - CANCELLED
Judge Jon Atkinson
New for 2020:
Roadster Shoeing – just on Wednesday 1 July
Hunter Shoeing – just on Thursday 2 July
All other classes will be run on both days
Online Entry: The RNAA encourage you to make your entries online, particularly if you have entered the Show using our online entry system before. It is very quick and easy to use and if you have exhibited before (under your name) the system should remember all yours and your equine(s) details, so less to type in and it avoids postage costs too! An entry confirmation email will be sent to you from Sage Pay so you can be assured your entry has been received and you also have a record of your order.
Postal/Email Entry: Postal entries can be made by completing the attached entry forms and posting to me at the Norfolk Showground address. Entry forms can be completed for multiple class entries (just change the class number on each form) and extra copies can also be downloaded from the website. Please ensure you complete BOTH PARTS of the entry form, to include the Class Entry Form and Summary Form. Completed entry forms can also be scanned and emailed to me at email@example.com.
PLEASE ENSURE ALL INFORMATION REQUESTED IS PROVIDED AND IS CORRECT. YOUR ENTRY MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOUR ENTRY DELAYED IF DATA IS OMITTED.
General Entry Information: The deadline for entries is Friday 17 April 2020. Late entries and alterations to entries after this date will be accepted at the discretion of the Show. Entries are subject to space and availability and for some classes, numbers may be limited. Therefore, it would be much appreciated to receive your entries as early as possible. This will also serve to avoid any disappointment.
Show Extras: Requests for caravan spaces, extra admission wristbands and parking passes should all be made at time of entry and will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
Catalogue Vouchers: There is an opportunity to purchase your Royal Norfolk Show Catalogue in advance. The Show Catalogues are £4 each (same price as previous years) and can be purchased by filling in the box on your entry form. A catalogue voucher will be sent to you with your ticket pack prior to the Show. You will need to present your voucher to receive your catalogue on Show day. Catalogues will still be available to purchase on Show Days.
Ticket Packs: Ticket packs will be sent to exhibitors approximately 14 days before the Show. Please check the contents immediately upon receipt. Wrist Bands/Tickets and Vehicle Pass allocation is based on the number of individual equines being entered in the Show which is detailed in the Equine Prize Schedule and on the Entry Forms. Security will be strict on arrival and VEHICLE PASSES and WRIST BANDS MUST BE DISPLAYED AND WORN to gain site access.
The Timetable: The Farrier Competition timetable is shown at in the Prize Schedule within the Farrier Section. Exhibitor names will be scheduled to the timetable nearer the Show date and will be provided with your Ticket Pack. Please mark on your entry form if a specific day is required for a class that takes place over two days. Please allow plenty of travelling time to arrive and prepare your exhibits etc. before the commencement of judging.
Conditions and Regulations. Please be sure to read the General Information and Conditions at the front of the Equine Prize Schedule as well as the Show Regulations at the back. In the Light Horse section you should also read the section conditions carefully to be clear on all rules and regulations. The Association does not accept any responsibility for any classes which are missed on either show day.
Please check our website (royalnorfolkshow.co.uk) regularly for any updates or changes to judges, timetable or rules etc. Any other important information will be forwarded to you with your tickets prior to the show. Should you have any queries regarding the Farrier Competition please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to receiving your completed entry form(s) in the post or confirmation of your entries made online.
As a much-valued past exhibitor, I very much hope that you will be exhibiting again this year and I look forward to welcoming you to the Show. Thank you for your continued support of the Royal Norfolk Show.
