Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Cayman and I am a 24 year old student at Moreton Morell College, studying the Farrier Access Course. I am looking for an Apprenticeship for when the college year ends. I am currently on line for a distinction in my college year.

I am loyal, hardworking and dedicated. I understand that a lot of farriers do not want to take on older apprentice’s, however I believe that I would be a great candidate for your business, your horses and your clients. I am just looking for the opportunity to show you.

I spent my teenage years working at an equine rescue yard, seeing the state of the animals and the good a farrier could do, made me want to pursue this line of work.

I have been out on work experience with a farrier to help increase my knowledge, they are happy to produce a reference.

I currently live in Leicester but I am happy to look anywhere! I drive and would be willing to relocate if neccesary.

I am currently on leave from college for the next two weeks due to half term and during this time would be available to come and do a trial with yourself.
