The Home International Competition is to take place from 13-14th April 2018. The event will be hosted by the England Farrier Team and will be held at The Forge, Great Yorkshire Show Ground, Harrogate. HG2 8NZ.
As the New England Team Manager I have taken the decision to relocate the competition, we will no longer be using Trinity Parks of the Suffolk Agricultural Association. This is something that I did not want to do and I did not make the decision lightly as the facilities they have at Trinity Parks are nothing short of brilliant. However, upon taking the position as the England Team Manager, and this being my first few weeks in the job, I really want to have full control of the event, this is something I could not do at a facility which is over 250 miles away from where I am based.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to those involved with the competition but I feel I have made the choice for the greater good of such a huge competition. My life is Farriery and I will give nothing less than my all to this new role. My passion and enthusiasm for the industry is second to none and as the host team for this event we will give all competing nations a competition to remember.
