We are looking for someone with a passion for farriery or equine hoof care to join our dedicated Global Animal Health team. The purpose of this role is to complete several key projects focused on building the skills of key Brooke staff and farriers across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East to support sustainable improvements in the industry as a whole.
We need someone with practical experience in farriery who is passionate about building skills in others. You may be a farrier or a vet with a particular interest in farriery, or have experience in training or co-ordinating farrier training.
You must have excellent organisation, communication and problem solving skills that you can apply to a range of contexts. Most importantly you should be passionate about bringing about lasting improvements to animal welfare.
